OVERVIEW

Alphanumeric Systems is seeking an exceptional Business Development Sales Manager within the Pharmaceutical Industry to join our team in Raleigh, NC.


The role of Business Development Manager will be reporting to the Department Manager. This role needs an ambitious and energetic person to help us expand our clientele. The goal of this role is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationship with current clients as well as new clients. In this role you will act independently as the single point of accountability for providing client solutions, support, influence expertise and interface for our largest and most complex strategic deals and clients; provide end to end solutions on sales opportunities based on an understanding of the client’s organizational strategic direction, pricing analysis and business needs.

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote AlphaExperts services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Engage with and coordinate with appropriate internal stakeholders and SME’s
• Keep accurate records and documentation of meetings, needs and solutions
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build and foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Make presentations/recommendations


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelors' Degree or higher in business administration, sales or relevant field
• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.

• A background in pharmaceutical industry knowledge is preferred - experience selling services within         the pharmaceutical industry (med ed, ad boards, patient experience.
• Proven sales track record
• Experience in customer support is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator)
• Proficiency in English
• Market knowledge
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Excellent Time management and planning skills


Preferred Requirements:
• Ability to review and comprehend financial reports

Computer Skills:  
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
• Basic computer and hardware proficiency to set up remote workstation 
• Hardwired internet connection at home office
• Must have a private and quiet office space at home office free of interruption to conduct professional calls

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times


JOB CONDITIONS

Start date: as soon as possible

Duration: stable project

Location: North Carolina (preference for candidates within a commutable distance to Raleigh, NC) – hybrid model – the candidate must be willing to travel regularly and/or spend time in NC/NJ/PA for onsite client meetings

Type of contract: FTE - Direct hire (Alphanumeric) - W2 worker.

Payment: 90.000 - 100.000 USD gross / year + benefits.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 830-530pm (EST).
