Alphanumeric is hiring a QC LAB TECHNICIAN (MICROBIOLOGY) to work in Lincoln, NE with an experienced manufacturer of leading global consumer health brands.

Conditions:
  • Type of employment: W2 Contract (100% on-site)
  • Duration: 9 months with potential for extension 
  • Work location: Lincoln, NE
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm (40H/week)
  • Pay rate: 24.50$/hour

  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A W2
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required
  • Associates Degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred
  • Prior lab experience is preferred
  • Prior cGMP and basic science background
  • Experience with microbiology: environmental monitoring
  • Experience in an education setting is suitable - great opportunity for recent grads - does not need to be OTJ experience to qualify
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct sampling and/or testing of micro, environmental monitoring, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements and company standards.
  • Develops knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and performs routine testing and/or sampling functions in microbiology laboratory.
  • Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good
    documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
  • Maintains all training requirements for assigned tasks.
  • Works independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established
    objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
  • Understands established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
  • Contributes to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts.
EHS Responsibilities – All Associates:
  • Know, understand and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
  • Report unsafe conditions
  • Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases
  • Wear personal protective equipment
  • Attend EHS training programs
  • Follow all safe work procedures
Quality Responsibilities – All Associates:
  • Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
  • Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.
