Alphanumeric is hiring a THERMAL SPRAY OPERATOR to work Second Shift (3:00PM - 11:30PM) in Orlando, FL with an environmental-friendly energy innovator focused on sustainability.
This role is available through a 12 months duration W2 type contract. We cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role, we require applicants to be fully eligible to work within the USA.
The compensation for this role ranges between 18 and 21 USD/h.
Independently read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and equipment methods and sequences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions;
* General knowledge of all other shop processes;
* Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision;
* Perform TPMs on equipment;
* Rebuild all thermal spray equipment (guns, powder feeders, and all consumable items);
* Run all I&A and top coat equipment;
* Load/unload parts into chemical tanks and monitor/maintain tanks during stripping process;
* Mask parts externally and internally using designated methods;
* Perform shutdown and startup procedures on all equipment;
* Perform other such duties as may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
* Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
